Real-time Computing Solutions division of RCS Consulting, Inc. is proud to introduce our new Remote Technical Support.

 

We can now provide remote technical support to you directly from our offices. What that means to you is that, in most cases, we can solve your problem faster. Remote Support is available for any desktop, laptop, or server. And it works across platforms, supporting Windows, Macs, and Linux, as well as Blackberry or Windows mobile devices.


Safe and secure
This is far more secure than other forms of remote access out there. It uses SSL Encryption to ensure that all of the data that’s being transmitted is fully encrypted.  We—and only we—can remotely get to your computer to see what’s wrong. You can either be at your computer or not, it’s up to you—we can set it up either way.


Here’s how it works:

When you have a problem, you or your employees can contact us and we’ll assign someone to work remotely to figure out what’s wrong.  You give us permission to set up your system to accept our remote access (and you decide whether you want attended or unattended access). Once connected, we’ll work on resolving the issue for you. Simple? You bet.

Obviously, if the Internet is down, or if your PC/laptop/server won’t run, we won’t be able to access your system to provide support. But as long as there is Internet access and your machines are still functional, we can troubleshoot from our office, getting to your problem more quickly and efficiently.


Our charges (and a Try It! offer):
If we’re responding to a call for service from you, we charge a flat fee of $50 for the Remote Support—most likely far less than travel time charges—plus our normal billing rate for actual time spent on resolving the issue. If we’re doing routine maintenance initiated by us, there is no $50 service fee, just our regular hourly rate.


*Try It! offer: So that you can experience the ease and speed of this new remote access first-hand, we’ll wave that $50 service fee on your first support call. Your first call’s service charge is on us, so you have nothing to lose in trying remote access—and everything to gain.
